Overview

These kits are available in many office supply stores. The paper stock is 'computer' paper meaning that the stock is perforated for separation. The kits come with invitations, responds, thank yous, and all the envelopes.

Whats in the Kit?

The Geographics Kits come in two flavors, a large kit called the "Elegant Wedding Ensemble" which appears to be perfect for weddings. You get::

25 Sheets Stationery
The smaller kit called "Formal Invitation Ensemble" can be used for weddings and other events. It includes:

All include free downloadable software on the Geographics web site.

Paper Designs

There are four paper designs available:
Nuptials - beautiful design perfect for weddngs
Bouquet - floral design for weddings and other events
Majesty - gold foil design for any event
Classic - embossed frame for any event

Cost

The large "Elegant Wedding Ensemble" kits have a list price of $49 but can be purchased for about $35. The smaller "Formal Invitation Ensemble" have a list price of $34 but can be purchased for about $25.

Software Review

You can download a free product called Geodesigner LITE from their web site. This product covers a variety of Geographics papers including their wedding kits. It is a simple word processor that shows the paper design in the background so you don't have to measure anything. But it is very elementary and is not well suited for printing invitations. (Hard Disk footprint 2 Mb.)

You can also download "The Complete Wedding Publisher" for a 30 day free trial. The software costs $14.95 and is a complete wedding publishing solution including a Guest List Manager. It includes 6 beautiful script fonts but you can use any font you have. It includes an extensive inventory of wordings and can even print personalized invitations which include the guest name. (Hard Disk footprint 2 Mb.)
