Yes, you CAN Print Your Own - and have great looking invitations. In many cases, with the suppliers listed below, you can purchase blank paper designs that are the same as you see in those big wedding albums. You can also buy wedding kits that are generally computer papers perforated for separation after printing. (Check our Product Reviews section under Resources.)

You can also Design Your Own - and print on plain paper. You will want a heavy paper stock but not too heavy or you will be unable to make a good crease (folding). Don't fiddle with any strange sizes. Envelopes are very hard to find. You will have to stick with half-size (8-1/2 by 5-1/2) or quarter size (5-1/2 by 4-1/4) envelopes in SOME stores.

Make your own Scroll Invitations - By 8-1/2 by 11 sheets of parchment paper. Use your word processor to create a wording in a large fancy font. Print it. Buy 1/2 inch wood dowel stock and cut to about 10 inches. Smooth the ends with sandpaper. Glue the parchment at the top and bottom to a pair of dowels. Roll it up and place in a clear mailing tube with a nice printed label.

Software - You can use your word processor. Measure the wording area on the paper stock. Select a nice script font and make the line spacing about 1-1/2 lines. There is also terrific wedding invitation software designed to work with specific paper stock. They have done all the work. You just enter names and addresses, select or create a wording, then print.
