You can have your Ensemble Papers printer either at your local "print shop" or through a national imprinter.

Local Print Shops - print your papers on their own presses OR use national imprinters. How can you know? If your local printer has large "wedding albums", they are using a national imprinter. If you print shop is using their own presses, they should tell you. Only the well equipped print shop can print THERMOGRAPHED and/or ENGRAVED papers. Otherwise, your papers will be "flat" printed using ordinary ink. There is nothing wrong with this unless you are expecting "raised ink" printing. Make sure you understand what is being offered.

Print Shops usually do not have access to the range of paper stocks that are available nationally. On the other hand, your local printer may save you money. Check this and their reputation for quality workmanship.

If you elect to use your local printer, be aware that they may not be able to advise you on the quantities you may need or how to use the various papers. If you are buying your papers through an album at your local printer, be sure to examine the album carefully. Most albums are filled with excellent information (such as what is available on the Invitations, Etc. web site).

National Imprinters - are large printing plants specializing in wedding, social, and business imprinting. You cannot order printing directly from these commercial printers. Instead, they provide "albums" listing their product lines to BOTH local printers and wedding professionals. You place your order through your local printer or wedding professional.

In order to supply printing to those on a budget, some of the national imprinters also do mail order imprinting. You can find advertisements for the mail order printers in the bridal magazines.

Most of the national imprinters print in quantities of 25.

Wedding Professionals and Consultants - as noted above, often work with one or more of the national imprinters. The advantage of using a professional is that you get important advice on the papers. They can explain the details about each paper and how it is used so that you can make a wise decision about what you would like to have versus what you can afford.
